Wine Critics Notes:
Vinous Comment - Score: 93(2013 March)
(100% old-vines marsanne that is grown on heavily granitic slopes in Tournon): Bright gold. An intensely perfumed nose displays scents of spiced pear, licorice, buttered toast and jasmine. Rich but vibrant on the palate, offering powerful lemon curd, pear and mineral flavors and a sweet vanilla undertone. Gains weight with air, becoming deeper and richer and finishing with excellent energy and focus. This impressive wine cedes little ground to the best white Hermitages.
