Vinous Comment - Score: 86 (2021 November)

The 2011 Extra-Brut Grand Blanc is a hard wine to taste, as it suffers from all of the shortcomings of the year. It's simply impossible to get past the vegetal aromas and flavors and unyieldingly hard contours. I imagine the 2011 will always be an awkward, angular Champagne. Dosage is 4.5 grams per liter.
